Sandblasted Belge (IV.18) Tobacco Pipe

This is the sort of piece at which Michael Parks excels: a classic French design, with elegant linework and a sense of flow in profile, rendered with a sense of modern minimalism to its shape. Most impressive, perhaps, is the inclusion of Michael's deep, vivid sandblast — here accomplished with such skill that it does not deform the shape at all, even as it brings out some incredible ring grain that feels excellent in hand.
