About This Pipe

Definitely the lightest and trimmest of the three briars in this David Huber batch, here we find a bent Apple showing an upright and active presentation of its pertly rounded bowl, followed by a low, gradual sweep and flare of its shank. What this makes for is a lively design as a whole, complemented well by the smoldering warmth of the sandblasted finish. Lively as it may be, however, it's still a very "controlled" sort of design, the lines easy and clean in nature, which fits in well with the pale and polished boxwood accent and the delicate proportions of the saddle stem.
