About This Pipe
Larry Roush clearly favors this whimsical, inherently Italian bent Pot shape, as he seems to quite enjoy making them, so much so that he opted to make this form one of his signatures. The shape is defined by a fairly unyielding arch from heel to bit about the underside in profile, lending a rearward-cant to the bowl and resulting in a silhouette that appears to be guided by the heel. Fittingly, it wears one of Larry's fetching, deep and craggy sandblasts, accentuating a spread of some of the tightest ring-grain I've ever laid eyes on. Said texture is stained very dark, nicely elevated by a stem of organic, almost wood-like brindled vulcanite and a neat silver accent band.
