About This Pipe
One look at this fantastically trim Stack from Jared Coles, and the work of Tom Eltang is instantly called to mind. From the smooth, subtle taper of the tall bowl, to the tight, pinched transition, even Jared's use of a warmer, rim-accenting contrast stain, all evoke those trimmer straight Billiard renditions we've seen from the Danish carver. A crisp, dark, Danish-style sandblast accentuates a vast display of sandblasted rings, forming a stacked pattern around the pronounced bowl. A stellar piece from Jared.
