About This Pipe
It's been quite a spell since we last saw an Acorn shape from Gabriele. As such, it's no surprise that this is a completely different Acorn shape from the last one, which was tall, rather Egg-like, deep of transition and very flaring of shank. This is a much quieter shape, even while also being a much broader and more compact one too. It is also a shape which, although quite comfortable to grip, I suspect was really intended to be cradled with the palm turned up; a manner of holding it where the long curve of the underside and the taper down from the well-rounded waistline really shine.
