About This Pipe
With a broad teardrop shank, a distinct, implied left-to-right curve of shank and transition, and considerable shifting of mass in the form of the bowl, this Gabrielle design packs quite a bit of asymmetry. And yet that's all kept relatively subdued in effect, mainly by sheer, full-bodied substance - the great, softly contoured roundness of the bowl and the breadth of its following shank restraining the effect.
