About This Pipe

A fine sweeping shape — which isn't a surprise, given that Hans "Former" Nielsen has quite a way with making fine, sweeping shapes. And when it comes to that, the bent Dublin is one he often uses as a basis for such designs, though often with more than a little hint of either Calabash or Horn thrown in as well — and here I'd say both. Just the right matched lines running from underside through to rim, and from the top of the shank-end through the rear face of the bowl, a poised and forward stance to transition and rim, a stem-base modified to work as a continuation of, and an accent to the briar's gesture. like I said, Former has a way with these things.
