Sandblasted Morta Apple (B) Tobacco Pipe

In an unusual twist, Max Rimensi of Il Duca has crafted an irresistible Apple bowl with an expanding shank that terminates at a neat accent at the end of the shank. Followed by a neat push stem arrangement of minimalist proportions, the arrangement provides a balance and precision that is difficult to overlook. The softly rounded bowl is all Apple, and positively covered with intricate morta crosshatching. Most Il Duca Apples are larger than this piece, but this one could easily be a coat pocket rester. Light enough to clench easily, rounded and textured to keep your fingers roving, and comfortable enough to smoke more often than it should, this pipe has all the hallmarks of a piece to be treasured and passed to future generations.
