About This Pipe
The highest grade of Max Rimensi, carver of Il Duca pipes, is the Duca, and amongst that line pipes are graded from D to DDD. This novel take on the short-and-chubby Apple gets all three Ds, and looking at the grain — wide bands of flame wrapping the sides, with birdseye along the base, rim and top of the triangular shank — the shape execution, and the bold yet warm contrast stain, it's not hard to see why.
