Sandblasted Cutty with Silver (107/17) Tobacco Pipe

Long and slender, light and well-balanced, canted and straight, curved and bulbous and ridged and blasted and tapered, with a modified Cutty-esque spur at the heel, this Asteriou is a combination of elements that work together in unprecedented fashion for a unique pipe. At the near and far sides of the bowl there are vertical ridges running the entire height, subtle and invisible from the side but stimulating and remarkable from the top or bottom. The grain, as you can see, leaves nothing to be desired. The forward and aft vertical curves of the bowl terminate at a wonderful transition to the shank, where straight-stem aesthetics take control of the whimsy and get down to business. A true conversation starter, this is a pipe to be admired.
