Though part of the Great Line series, this bent Dublin by Castello is far more reserved than many of the line's other pipes, measuring just under five and a half inches long. That said, what this piece lacks in substance it more than makes up for with curvature, as it possesses a lithe shank-and-stem arrangement that strikes a willowy S-curve at the shape's aft. The shank-and-stem arrangement's gestural build promotes a comfortable smoking posture and provides the transition with plenty of negative space, with this negative space emphasizing the bowl's substantive frame and dramatic upward flare. Dressing this piece is the warm Collection finish, which highlights flame grain so impressive that Castello awarded this pipe their coveted Fiammata designation.
