Smooth Bent Egg Tobacco Pipe

A tall rendition of the bent Egg from Benni Jorgensen, this piece feels sublime in hand and hosts a generous chamber within. From the lenticular shank to the gently scooped rim, it's imbued with Benni's conventional style and graceful shaping. Starting at the crisply upturned stem base, firm ridgelines run down the sides of the shank before gradually evaporating into the bowl's grain. Jorgensen has balanced the piece wonderfully, as the flanking ridgelines run parallel to the sweeping underside while also echoing the upturned edges of the undulating rim. Dressed in a chestnut and mahogany contrast stain, Benni has brought the best out of the grain while maintaining a conservative color palette to allow the piece's form to take center stage.
