Sandblasted Strawberry Wood Long Shank Poker (Four Clubs) Tobacco Pipe

Strawberry wood had been a common medium in the Becker workshop since Paolo first started experimenting with the wood. Its remarkably craggy grain after sandblasting is irresistible, and the smoking qualities of strawberry wood are quite similar to briar, in my opinion. This Poker reveals not only that striking undulation of grain, but is a long and lithe presentation featuring an extra long shank and a cumberland saddle stem. That length interferes with the sitting capabilities of the pipe, though it does sit on its own by resting back on the lip button. This piece is remarkably light and has all the earmarks of being an impressive smoking machine.
