Smooth Bent Egg with Boxwood (1233) Tobacco Pipe

Though it's hard to typify what would be considered a quintessential Jeff Gracik bent Egg shape, this one definitely falls into the category of "stout and chubby". Indeed, the American carver does excel at lending his shapes a certain curve-laden muscularity, coupled with no shortage of active disposition, as this fellow displays. It also makes fine use of a particularly dark, yet clear in detail walnut contrast, accentuating a handsome display of sweeping flame and birdseye alike. A pale boxwood mount adds a sliver of contrast, leading the eye to a gently-downturned saddle stem.
