Smooth Chubby Blowfish Tobacco Pipe

Despite this piece being the most compact of this current batch of Sam Cui pipes, I don't think I'm able to argue with its shape moniker. Proportionally, it's mostly bowl, the tight faceted linework of the shank merely acting as guiding paths to the broad, complex linework presented up front. Sam makes brilliant use of this canvas however, with flanks packed with vividly-highlighted whorls of birdseye, and a lane of cross-grain succinctly framed down the center. The saddle stem plays with a bit of negative space out back to visually balance the bowl, and the comforting, yet tight bit work should allow this briar to be rather easy in a clench, I'd wager. An awesome piece.
