About This Pipe
Organic numbers are very impressive in their own right, but it's a well-handled classic I find truly exciting. This Billiard from Ray Kurusu goes a bit beyond well handled, dipping its toes more on the end of impressively. Soft and streamlined, but still comforting and substantial, packed with brilliant birdseye accentuated by a warm contrast, and accented with a generous region of boxwood; this pipe is practically perfect. Complementing it all is a succinct saddle stem of rich cumberland. This is an excellent piece indeed.
