Sandblasted Natural Liverpool (Shell) (A) Tobacco Pipe

An irresistibly classic shape, the Liverpool offers a Billiard bowl and long, round shank, but in this rendition from Giacomo Penzo, an added dose of elegance is immediately recognizable. It's just under five-and-a-half inches, but proportionally seems longer thanks to its streamlined design and concise pencil shank. The stain is near natural but contrasted by darker streaks of grain and the sandblast is craggy with plenty of deep growth rings to keep one interested both in tactile feedback and visual analysis. The rim is sandblasted, like the rest of the stummel, and is chamfered around the tobacco chamber, while the long elegance of the piece is softly terminated by a gently tapering stem for comfort and appeal.
