About This Pipe

A pupil of Teddy Knudsen and Claudio Cavicchi, Davide Iafisco is an incredibly talented and influential pipe artisan. Today, Iafisco is seen pulling inspiration from various schools of design when crafting his pipes, with most displaying unique and organic features uncommon in shape-chart standards. This bent Pot from Iafisco is a sleek and sweeping rendition of the classic silhouette, showcasing Danish elements and crafted in a compact size. Measuring just over four and a half inches long and approaching Nosewarmer proportions, this pipe, coupled with its small tobacco chamber, is a great option for travel and on-the-go smoking. Up front, the squat bowl sits with a forward urge as its walls rise from a firm heel toward a chamfered rim. A ninety-degree transition gives way to a rounded shank-and-stem combination that softly bends and gradually tapers to the bit. The ebony vulcanite mouthpiece pairs well to the dark, walnut-stained stummel, where the smooth finish highlights stunning flicks of flame grain around the bowl.
