Try Deertongue

This is one of the very few blends available nowadays with deertongue in it. Smokes great. Some suggests that the DT might ghost the pipe, in my experience no, it did not ghost my pipe. And it tastes good. Worth the money.

e bag an intoxicating mix of oat grass , pencil shavings, liquorice whips, and celery As weird as that sounds put It this way - thisbis like old style man’s reading room potpourri.
I sampled this with a new MM Huck Finn.

The virginia Is solid from draw one, and the deer tongue (which is new to me) has an oddly interesting vegetal / spiciness that I immediately want more of in my life. It made my mouth water. While I have no doubt this can bite like a Pitt bull, I take it easy - which required effort because I kept wanting to go back for more.
Second bowl was immediately packed upon kicking the firsts’ dottle and the word that popped in my head was “sophisticated “. It’s unique. It’s so damn good and tasty and unlike anything I’ve had before.
I’ve shied away from deer tongue in the past. That’s my sin to atone for. I have been neglecting glimpses of Nirvana due to my own impertinence.
How much do I like it ? I ordered a pound , on the spot , before packing a third bowl.
Third time around I detect some fruitiness in the mix. Plums. Dates. Almost something like Jordan almonds you get at the movies. And the deer tongue is the magic slicer that makes it all magical.
I will be blunt : I love this. I don’t u derstand hownit is the 11th lowest rated blend out of 101. Easy 5 for me - and can’t wait for the average 4 days it takes a box to get from Loris SC to me - I want more , NOW.
My rating : 5 - and I couldn’t wait till payday to get a pound. I had to do it now.

Excellent blend! Became even better when I pressed it into a crumble cake for 10 days in the noodle press! The taste and aroma really remind me of Dutch spice cake, which my mom used to bake for road trips when I was a kid.
