Cabinetta Toro Cigar (6 x 52)

While showcasing multiple wrapper types in a single cigar isn't a novelty, it's certainly comparatively rare. Typically, such cigars are presented with a barber-pole configuration, alternating in coiled array across the cigar's surface, but Joya de Nicaragua's Cabinetta series takes a different approach. Instead of interlacing two wrapper varietals in a barber-pole orientation, the Cabinetta cigar completely separates the two distinct types: An Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper covers the first two thirds, while a dark Nicaraguan Criollo leaf envelopes the cap and final third. Such a unique presentation makes for a sudden transition in flavor as smooth, sweet, and creamy notes crescendo into bold spice at the end.
