Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. continues the Carrillo family's Cuban cigar-making legacy, following in the footsteps of his father, who established a Cuban cigar factory in 1948 before later moving to Miami. The Pledge of Allegiance 2026 is a limited-edition blend that celebrates the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, as well as the American Dream. It uses a Connecticut-Habano wrapper, Ecuadorian Connecticut binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan fillers from Condega, Jalapa and Estelí. Some of the fillers are grown by ASP, which is one of the most important tobacco growers in the world. The result is a cigar with depth, complexity, and balance they feel is worthy of the occasion it is meant to celebrate. The production of this cigar is limited to 1,776 boxes of 10, meant to honor the year that the United States declared its independence.
