About This Pipe
Rather than speaking to the grain or finish like the Club, Spade, Diamond, Heart, Royal Flush, and Royal Flush Elite, Becker's "Collection" grade is a designation unlike any other. It corresponds to certain shapes that are particularly difficult and very rare — unsurprisingly we've only even received three new (i.e. not-estate) pipes in the past with such a stamp. And this full-bent Freehand is the first of its kind we've seen on the site. Incorporating elements from the Beckers' signature Acorn/Stack shape with an Oom Paul's deep transition and generous bent, the drilling and engineering in themselves are commendable — a testament to the late Paolo's success as a teacher, and his son Federico's penchant for taking his family marque to the next level.
