About This Cigar
Crafted by master blender Nelson Alfonso, founder of Selected Tobacco and the mind behind luxury brands like Bandolero, Byron, Atabey, and Alfonso, the Nelson Ilustres set features five cigars in the brand's 6 x 54" Ilustres vitola, as well as an ashtray designed by Nelson Alfonso himself. The cigars in this set feature an Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper, an Ecuadorian binder, and fillers from Peru and the Dominican Republic. Celebrating both Selected Tobacco's past and future, the blend featured in this set was created with the help of Nelson Alfonso's sons. Moreover, these cigars have undergone a four-year aging process, stored in specialized aging rooms lined with five different varieties of cedar, imparting them with "unrivaled depth and character."
