Aganorsa tobacco is known throughout the industry for its quality and similarity to the iconic Cuban flavor and aroma. Based in Nicaragua, Aganorsa Leaf is a project by Eduardo Fernández and his son, Max, that started in 1998 when Eduardo traveled to Cuba and assembled a team of former Cubatabaco agronomists with the goal of replicating the profile of Cuban cigars, creating the specific leaf now known as Aganorsa tobacco. At first, Aganorsa acted as the tobacco supplier of Casa Fernández, but in 2018, Eduardo and Max adopted the Aganorsa name into their cigar lines, rebranding Casa Fernández as Aganorsa Leaf

Launched in 2021, the Rare Leaf Reserve line by Aganorsa Leaf is a limited-production cigar. Due to the success of the original release of Rare Leaf Reserve cigars, Aganorsa Leaf decided to add a Rare Leaf Reserve Maduro. Featuring a Mexican San Andrés wrapper and filler tobaccos from Estelí and Jalapa, Nicaragua, this cigar offers a bold twist on the quintessential Aganosra Leaf tobacco flavor.
