First thing one must know about these. Clean then thoroughly with alcohol or similar before use. The manufacturing process can leave some residue which must be removed prior to use. Now that the important parts said I find these seal extremely well and while I check them periodically, I find that the boveda pack lasts quite some time when they remain sealed. I have smaller cvaults that I use for travel and larger ones like these that I use for cellaring tobaccos. So long as you clean them out before use I have no complaints....Read More

This, with the 62% Boveda pack is a great way to manage the moisture content of my tobacco. Highly recommended. I usually keep three Peterson tins, two pocket jars, and a hygrometer in mine. Compact. Easy to open and close. A good value for the money.

Bought it but not going to use packet it comes with.

I found that after a week it changed the character of the tobacco. I followed the instructions. One pound of Mac Baren's Plumcake lost it's flavor in a negative way. I do not know what the packet contains that controls the humidity but I will not be using it in the canister. The chemistry is not listed on the packet. A pound of tobacco trashed. Ordering another pound of Plumcake today, Will use the can without the packet and control the humidity another way myself. Very disappointed....Read More
