The dapper exterior design hails from the apex of the Art Deco movement, the roaring 20s, as does the signature Mikazuki arches.

Spring wears out and leaks

Lighter worked well until it was out of warranty, then the spring that holds the lid down wore out and lighter started leaking. Other users have had the same problem. Would not buy again, or pay the high price for repair.

It’s a pretty good lighter. Feels substantial in the hand, fuel lasts for several days between refills. Works pretty much every time, but goes out easily in a breeze, which is typical for butane lighters.
