About This Cigar
Committed to the cigar making tradition established by his father and grandfather, Nick Perdomo Jr. began making cigars out of his garage, naming the operation "Nick's Cigar Co." This humble home business would become Tabacalera Perdomo in 1992, renowned throughout the cigar world. The company soon outgrew every location it moved to, eventually settling in Estelí, Nicaragua, where its handmade cigars are still produced today. Now, the 4th generation of Perdomo is at the helm, with Nicholas Perdomo III continuing the legacy of those before him.
Lot 23 cigars from Perdomo highlight tobaccos from one of their most prestigious farms, Lot 23, located near its factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Before being rolled into cigars, the tobaccos are first fermented for one year, then aged another four, offered in either a Maduro, Natural, Sun Grown wrapper. The blend is a combination of exquisite filler and binder tobaccos from Lot 23, with the Sun Grown version boasting a Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper. Perdomo's Lot 23 cigars offer a medium- to full-bodied smoke, marked by a broad array of flavors, and it remains well-balanced, retaining a rich, smooth character. The beautiful wrapper lends not only stunning aesthetic appeal, but also a delicious nuance to the extremely flavorful Nicaraguan Cuban-seed fillers and binder from Lot 23.
