Limited Cigar Association - Gravy
Not bad for a young blenders holiday release
The stick is blended by a young man 20s I believe who has a small operation, the construction was great, draw was very good burn good as well. Lots of smoke output! Smooth, lot of cedary wood notes, creamy, coffee at times, and slight tobacco sweetness. Some light pepper on palate and retro. Vitamin N starts mild to med as ya progress. Good stick, well priced in my opinion.

Blackbird - Meadowlark
Solid stick
Surprised me, very enjoyable, earthy, smooth, sweet, Coco, coffee it's all there, this should be a main stay in their lineup, too good not to be, also a sleeper, don't hear anyone talking about it

J. London - Telephone Booth Series Dark Orange
Very bad stick
It was one of the worst cigars I've ever had, didn't even finish it, terrible. I got it in a mystery pack, guess that's the only way they can get rid of them.

Joya de Nicaragua - Joya Red Toro
Not very good
Got in a mystery pack, not very good, odd flavors, got about half way through and just stopped, bleh.

Tatuaje - Pork Tenderloin
The hype is justified
Savory, good black pepper throughout and not overwhelming but is the driver, blended really well, lots of smoke, leather, earthy, full bodied, satisfying. If it had little more sweetness it be a 5 star.

Drew Estate - Isla del Sol Sun Grown Robusto
Budget but ok
Tabuk especial is wayyyy better but for half the price you can get this and while not the same, gives as close to the same notes. Had some burn issues but it's a budget stick seems to be part for the course but flavors were decent, no real vitamin N on this so if you want bolder check out the Tabuk especial.

Warped - Gellis Family Absolutos Corona Gorda
An approachable Nicaraguan puro
This was a good stick, pleasant smoking experience, no overwhelming pepper, slight tobacco sweetness, some faint anise, at times green bell pepper, settled into a smooth smoke with easy retro, it fades in the final third and the palate gets more peppery. Plenty of smoke and construction, draw and burn are good. It's nothing special though and I think could be a better value which is why I knocked off some stars.

Black Label Trading Company - BLK WKS Studio NBK Robusto
Disappointed
Was definitely disappointed, flavors weren't terrible but just lot of earth, some pepper, not much coffee notes, had burn issues needed lot of touch-ups, expected more from the brand.

Ferio Tego - Metropolitan Habano Toro
Solid experience for price
Under the radar stick, good value punches higher than expected. Smooth, creamy, bready, buttery at times, slight pepper throughout, best parts are end of first third through the end of the second third then it falls off a bit. Worth keeping them in the humidor.

Limited Cigar Association - Cigarface Angel (by Montenegro)
Good smooth stick
Great construction, good burn, smooth. Tobacco sweetness, Cedar, herbal hints -anise, leafy, slight coffee notes, sweet and black pepper throughout not overwhelming. Mild Vit-N Pleasent experience.

Drew Estate - Tabak Especial Dulce Robusto
Sweet, smooth, consistent
Was surprised by this one, sweetened tip lasted till end, creamy, cedar, very slight pepper, no obvious coffee notes but good draw, good burn, slight construction issue but nothing keeping it down. Overall solid stick enjoyable, would be great if it was slightly cheaper but it's worth a try.

Perdomo - Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut Robusto
Good and consistent
Very good draw, good burn, good construction,Very smooth, consistent flavor, cedar, wood, little spice, slight roasted flavor of maybe coffee, lots of smoke, was better than avg experience and worth the price, don't have to think about this one much.

Fratello - Lunar Connecticut
Average
Was excited to try this one, was smooth, good burn, construction was ok, notes of cedar, leather, very little sweetness in first half, mild nic, not many touch ups or relights until the end and the experience suffered in final 1/3. Would be good value if they were cheaper, unfortunate.

Awesome its back!
So thankful this is back, its a very good blend by Mr Reeves one of his best, I didn't think it would ever be available again, so thanks a lot!

Warped - Midsommar 2oz
Its just ok
This fresh out of the tin not bad, not getting the toppings overwhelmingly, the tobacco is all forward. I guess its got some aging potential will revisit it to see but agree its a repeatable and satisfying . Glad I tried it not sure Id go out of my way for it or buy it again, nothing really stands out about it, guess that is good and bad. 3.5 stars

Warped - Saint Espresso 2oz
Should be a flagship for Warped
This is how aromatics should be done, this should also be available all the time, its really up there with the rest of their offerings. Had this last year and its still good, they got a winner with this blend.

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - Small Batch Resolution 2oz
A decent blend
Its a decent blend of Virginia tobacco and Turkish, the tin note was a fig newtons and the flakes were ready out of the tin. I wouldn't say it was a special blend, just expertly blended for what it is and do think with a bit of age this will be sublime . That said I am not impressed with the extra price for a 2 oz tin, the packing was just a paper box, they could have nixed that and dropped the price a few dollars, food for thought. If you enjoy VA/Oriental try it out its worth it, but not something id cellar deep unless you caught it on sale or something. 3.75/4

Warped - Scarecrow 2oz
How aromatics should be made
Its not goopy, no chemical aftertaste, you get a very natural tobacco experience and the topping they add plays well with the tobaccos natural flavors. I would have rated this a full 4 but i think it requires a full year in a jar to really shine. The white burley used had lot of rough edges and the whole thing benefits from being in a jar for a year, after that its an excellent fall aromatic that I think is better than Autumn Evening and Sleepy Hallow for sure.

This is very good right out the tin, should be special with some age.

Cornell & Diehl - Eight State Burley 2oz
Not bad, could have been great if....
If they added more of the red VA, for me that's what this was missing. Many have said this was like Sunbear which is good too, ive had both back to back to compare and have to say very different. Its a nice blend though and glad I was able to try it and I think it deserves the small batch title so if it pops up again get some.

BriarWorks - Back Down South 2oz

The is the second briarworks blend ive tried, the first one wasnt very good at all, think it was beard blend. Had this one fresh, it didn't really jump out at me, a bit harsh and a little bite, perhaps with some age it will get better but there are many VaPers better.

Drucquer & Sons - First Amendment 100g
I enjoyed this one
I liked the components in this it was very well blended, the burley in place of the orientals made for a good change . It is smooth, not a lat bomb but just enough to let ya know its there throughout the smoke. The VA used were tasty and come through in the end for me. Not a single hint of bite and had a quick cadence. Quiet nights is my favorite GL blend and Id put this one a notch below that but I feel this one could really shine with some age on it.
