Needs some age
This stuff is good.....with at least a year on it. I found it harsh when it was fresh, jarred it up let sit a year and wow did that change the whole dynamic of this blend.

This blend is excellent. and reasonably priced. people wanna cry it's $80 for 24 ounces. ok let's do basic math. Two ounce can of C&D speakeasy is currently $13.77. so 24 divided by 2 is 12. 12 tins to equal 24 ounces. 12 X $13.77 is $165.24. literally twice the price if LNF. lets try another blend Mac Baren navy flake 3.5 oz tin 24/3.5=6.857 round up to 7 @31.70 a tin is $221.90...... so come on people stop crying and lets build up these blends we have left before they are gone forever, does anyone remember frog Morton, how about sutliff, or the old time blends like sugar bucket or field and stream, gone . if you don't like it don't buy it. but be honest why you don't like it. don't blame it on the price

WOW.
As a burley smoker primarily I wasnt sure how much id like this blend. I ordered one ounce to try it. the moment I smoked that first bowl I regretted that decision. I instantly jumped on ordered a handful of tins and a pound to cellar away. I smoked that ounce in a day. This may replace Prince Albert as my all day smoke.
Cornell & Diehl - Gillingham Mixture
Nothing
For me there is nothing. Just hot smoke. No flavor of anything. However it packs well.

Pretty good
It’s a flavorful cool smoke. Try it out. If you don’t like it throw it in a mason jar for 3 to 6 months. It gets better and better.

Very disappointed originally
I hope this will get better with age. As of right now it’s like smoking old gym shorts and kitty litter. Update: Pipe - Peterson system 301 Tamper- Deer antler Beverage - room temperature coffee I opened the mason jar that I completely forgot about the date was 8/26/19 and figured hell why not. And buddy let me tell you this has improved drastically. I get it now. No more gym shorts no more kitty litter. The flavors have melded so well. Im getting the sweet Virginia the first 1:3 of the bowl with an occasional hint of honey just sneaking in there. At the 2:3 point the slight spice kicks in with a deep stone fruit over powering the honey. And at the 3:3 point of the bowl the Virginias start playing nicely with the orientals but the honey is really noticeable with the contrast of the sour orientals. I have 5 more tins of this with the same date code more or less which will be going into my rotation. Will be buying more if this and hiding it to be discovered in the future.

Simple
It’s a good simple tobacco. No frills. Pack a pipe sit back and relax. Just enjoy the natural flavor of these Virginia’s.

That girl!
You know when you were in high school and your mother said “ you stay away from that girl she’s trouble” that’s this tobacco. She’s trouble. Once you get a taste of her it’s all you want. I smoke straight. No mixing no tampering with the beautiful smoky creamy flavor.

Cherry cherry and more cherry
It’s not complicated here kids. It’s cherry. Not your chemical tasting cherry. A natural beautiful cherry.

I freaking hate burley
It’s true I hate it. So a buddy gives me some doesn’t tell me what it is. Takes my pipe loads it and says enjoy. And wow did I ever. I asked him what it was and he told me. I didn’t believe him till he showed me that one pound sutliff bag. So I jumped on the internet and ordered a pound of my own. Currently have about 3 oz left and it’s only been a week. Buying five pounds today.

Pretty good
It was pretty good. I hit boxed it and still didn’t bite me so if your new to pipes you are good there. Flavor wasn’t in your face but did let itself be seen. I’ve purchased two pounds and smoke it all day every day. That being said. It’s not a complex blend. It’s a load and go blend. Don’t think too much into it. Just enjoy.

Not sure if it’s a good idea!?
So I’m not sure if it’s a good idea or not but I went thru a pound in a week. That’s how good this stuff is. Deep flavor but not over powering. Then out of nowhere a natural sweetness sneaks up on you. Oh man what a blend. I’m gonna go pack some more and have another bowl. Sweet smokes everyone.

Too good to be true
I keep telling my self it must be too good to be true. And puff after puff I wait for this tobacco to let me down. Well it has not. Sweet subtle natural cherry. Smooth rich smoke. I gave some to a friend who is a english only fella. Well he’s ordering a pound. If you don’t believe it order a ounce or two. But be warned. You’ll kick yourself for not buying a pound outright.
Sutliff - Creme Brulee
Best ever
Absolutely the best aromatic that I've had. It even beats out molto. Just bought a pound. May by 5 more pounds. No tongue bite. Flavor hole way thru the bowl. 5 stars.
