Tampers & Tools - Savinelli Coin Pipe Companion
Better than the Czech tool
Very nice 3 in one, especially for the price. The pick is especailly nice, being slightly wider than most.

Lane Limited - LL-7
Another favorite aromatic!
Very pleasant aro. No bite, not too wet. A tasty vanilla cream with minimal toppings. One of my favorites along with RLP-6 and HG-2000. Excellent room note! I smoked it through a 9mm Vauen Classic.

Filters & Adaptors - White Elephant 9mm Filters - Charcoal (20 Pack)
Great filters, on par with Vauen
These filters work just as well as Vauens version, but not in Vauens. It won't won't fit in Vauen 9mm stem channel, but can still be used. Same length, but a touch thicker. This filter works better in my Rattray 9mm and AKB 9mm Meerschaum for that reason.

Lane Limited - 1-Q
It was great as a first introduction to pipe smoking
Now, I just find it boring. Replaced with RLP-6! Much more flavor and still just as pleasant to smoke.

Lane Limited - MV-1000
One of my top three favorites!
Very pleasant tobacco, not overly wet, mild flavor, no bite, creamy vanilla and caramel flavor, burns ok for an aromatic. Great outdoor aroma! Recommended for aromatic lovers.

Vauen - Classic Sandblasted (4479) (9mm)
Nice pipe, price and smoking experience.
I received this pipe recently. Mine is the straight billiard version, 4486. I love that it takes a 9mm filter. The Vauen filter is the only one that fits solidly into the channel of the stem. It's a perfect fit. The draw is good, smokes very dry, cool, your mouth feels good after a bowl No bite or harshness at all, just consistently pleasant. I smoked Lanes LL-7. This is my second Vauen. A well engineered German pipe, but the draft hole was slightly off center. 1/2 star deduction for that. This did not affect my smoking experience.

Stands & Pouches - Woodmere 2 Pipe Stand - Teak
Really nice!
I just received this stand yesterday. I was surprised by the quality, workmanship and grain. It is far better than what Decatur produces. The color is a lighter teak than what is shown on the site, but I prefered that. It is made in India!

Filters & Adaptors - Vauen Filters (10 Pack)
Best 9mm Charcoal filter out there.
It has a much more open draw than the 6mm version. Works perfectly with perfect fit in a Vauen pipe. The filter is a little short in my Rattray, but fits very well. I wish it was a touch longer to help assist with removing from my stem of my Rattray, but smokes very well.

Lane Limited - BCA
Best to blend it with something else.
I really found this tobacco to be a little boring.. I smoked it out of corn bob with 6mm filter. Taste was ok, not great and it needs at least 20 minutes of drying out. I decided I am going to use it to soften some stronger aromotics in the future.

Lane Limited - RLP-6
One of my favorites!
I smoked this in a corn cob with 6mm filter. Super smooth, zero bite, great room note, nice creamy flavor. More flavor than the Q1. I smoked this a second time in my Rattray briar with a 9mm charcoal filter. It was even smoother and a very relaxing smoke. No bite, of course.

Filters & Adaptors - Vauen 6mm Filters - (30 Pack)
Kind of worked for me
I purchased these filters primarily for a Missouri Meerchaum 6mm Corn Cob (Doc Cob). It is tight, but it does fit. I did sand out some of the inner steam. I havent found any other 6mm charcoal that will fit. You do need to slowly rotate it into the stem with some force, but it will go in. It also fits in my Savinelli 111KS, although it is much shorter with a tighter draw then Savinelli's own 6mm charcoal filter. Remember to shake the filter before you insert it. This will help any of the charcoal from cloging the filter. These filters were designed to fit Vauens Six series of pipes. Most likely will funcion much better in one of those. Anything else is a gamble. Update: It does not smoke as well as Vauen 9mm charcoal filter in a 9mm Briar pipe. It had a tighter draw and filters 50% less. No more 6mm pipes for me.

Tampers & Tools - Tobacco Pipe Wind Cap
Does what it is supposed to.
Simple, fits multiple sized chambers and helps out with moderate winds.

Rattray's - Emblem Brown (157) (9mm)
Nicer than I thought it would be!
I was looking for a 9mm pipe and decided to go with a Rattray pipe. I loved the look of the dark smooth mahogony finish and the emblem band. When I recived it, it was nicer than I thought. I did find a couple of tiny pits, but no fills and the briar showed lots of straight grain. The draw with the included White Elephant Meerchaum was very open. I put in a 9mm Vauen Charcoal filter instead to tighten the draw a little. I prefer this. My only wish is that it would have come with a Rattray Black 9mm charcoal filter. Also, unlike the picture, the pipe comes with a carbonized bowl, which i prefer. I do want to point out that the mortise and internal shank flow had some red varnish. I used some Everclear and pipe cleaners to remove most of it. This; however; is not unusal for a factory pipe. Pleased with this pipe overall. Thanks SP! Additional info 7/6/25: I was able to have my first smoke with this Rattray. Excellent! I was using a Vauen 9mm charcoal filter. No issues with draw resistance or negative flavors. Cool, dry smoke, zero bite and left my mouth feeling pretty clean after my 35 minute smoke. I was smoking the aromatic Lane RLP-6.
