Decent moisture control and only slightly affect the flow
These are my choice for 6mm filters. They control moisture well without killing the draw of the pipe. They must be changed every bowl or they lose power and affect the taste.

These are fairly effective for helping control moisture without impacting the draw of the pipe too much. They absolutely must be changed every bowl.

Good filtration, but little tight on the flow
These are good filters, but they definitely tighten up the pipe's draw. Small filters need to be changed every time or they affect the flavor and lose their power to absorb the moisture.

Good filtration without restricting the flow
These are excellent filters and I like how they don't affect the way the pipe draws. In my Lorenzetti volcano, I get 2 or 3 bowls between filter changes.

Small pipe, big smoke
Fired my first bowl today, and I love the big 9mm filter for stronger tobaccos. Smokes fantastic, didn't need to relight, and minimal tamping needed. The bottom is so well balanced that it stayed upright even without a stand.

Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop Cake 2oz
Hauntingly strong and flavorful
This cake is an amazing combination of leaves that have really come together to be more than they were before. Much stronger fig/plum notes from the perique than the ribbon, and the burley, while still bringing the big nic kick, has mellowed out from the sweetness of the virginia. The cake makes the difference!

Cornell & Diehl - Midnight Orchard 2oz
Only technically an aromatic
Wow. The topping on this is very subtle, just a hint of sweetness and a very light orange-y note. The rest of the flavor comes from the leaves. The red Virginias bring the whole range sweet bread notes, but with creamier smoke, I assume from the steaming. The Perique plum notes are there, blended with the aromatic and soft tang of the bright Virginia for a really very enjoyable experience. Definitely more nic kick than most aromatics!
