best i've tried so far
as a point of reference, i have used all of these pipe cleaners before: -B. J. Long Bristle Tapered Pipe Cleaners -B. J. Long Extra Fluffy Pipe Cleaners -B. J. Long Churchwarden Pipe Cleaners -B. J. Long B Coil 52' Extra Fluffy Pipe Cleaner -B.J. Long Bristle Coil 52' Pipe Cleaner -Peterson Tapered Pipe Cleaners -Peterson Bristle Pipe Cleaners -Brigham Extra Absorbent Pipe Cleaners -Brigham Bristle Pipe Cleaners -Blitz Pipe Cleaners -Vauen Bristle Pipe Cleaners -White Elephant Tapered Pipe Cleaners and then these. and these ate the ones that take the proverbial cake. the central wire is good and stiff, very easy to push through even the most troublesome pipes without any need to disassemble them. they are actually slightly tapered, even if not described as such. so even with smaller draft holes, they should work fine. also, theyre not truly "bristle," that is to say, the material is just sort of a slightly scrubby fluff. it won't replace the truly wiry sharp bristles in the vein of the b.j. long or brigham bristle cleaners. but it is not as fluffy and soft as the stuff in those same brands'"extra fluffy" cleaners either. this specific product is the best option, to me, for a "standard" pipe cleaner. i'll use the more wiry type for any gunked up chunks when they occur, and i might keep a reserve brigham's extra fluffy cleaners on hand as well in case i ever have need forn something really soft & pillowy, as those are almost towel-like. but 90% of the time, white elephant's (so-called) bristle cleaners are all i need. that being said, vauen's bristle cleaners are almost as good. they likewise have a pretty stiff central wire, and a identical material texture with a slight taper in thickness. they cost less, too. the only downside is that they are *slightly* less thick on the thicker end. but if you want something pretty much as good as these, while being about 3/4ths the price, they make a fine alternative. even with the higher price, though, these are the ones i prefer to restock over any other.

Once there's even a hint of something that runs counter to Xtianty, the Xtians act like they've been thrown in the lions' den. And this despite the numerous examples of marketing that appeals directly to their religious leanings. "Good for me, not for thee" - happens every time. Bunch of crybabies. Laudisi's doing the right thing by letting them cry it out.
