About This Pipe
With just the slightest of elegant bends, this gorgeous piece provides a wonderful display of grain, beginning as birdseye adorning the bottom of the bowl and transforming into whirling flame as it flows to the rim. Accentuating the stem in an understated fashion is a portion of bright, canary boxwood, complimenting the warm tones of the stummel and making an altogether classically Danish piece. Exquisite work from young carver Johannes Rasmussen, and certainly not one to be passed up.
