About This Pipe
This is the more understated of the two Eskimo Eggs we've received in our initial batch of Silver Gray pipes; the sandblasted finish is more subdued in contrast, and the stem is kept classic black in color. As much as the grain pops on the other, smooth finished Eskimo Egg, and as attention-grabbing as that one's brindled vulcanite stem may be when combined with a design inherently wide of shank and stem, this is the one I would go for when it comes to simple appreciation of form. (Not that Silver didn't also get some fine ring grain out of the briar — because she did that, too.)
