Though more known for her pencil-shanked Quail's Eggs and Apples, Scottie is quite adept at these more classic designs, as well. A trim little Billiard in easy style, this piece pairs a softly-rounded bowl to a steadily tapering shank and stem, the latter hand-cut from soft, navy blue vulcanite. The touch of cool blue pairs nicely with the warmer stain of the sandblasted stummel, while the smooth, chamfered rim offers a contrast in texture that is as eye-catching as it is practical. Excellent work all around on this piece.
