Partially Sandblasted Pencil Shank Rhodesian Tobacco Pipe

Pencil shanks are part-and-parcel to Scottie Piersel's shaping aesthetic, lending something of an old world, yet modernist charm to the classics she takes on. It certainly did as much with this Rhodesian, with the slender-as-a-reed shaping at the shank guiding the eye to the pronounced, lightly canted bowl. Coupled with that, Scottie lent the shape a crisp, Danish-style sandblast, finished in a dark red walnut, serving to throw additional focus to the poised upper-bowl above the beadline, where you can find some lively contrast-stained flame, not to mention a freckling of birdseye. Complemented by a stem of vivid, almost bowling ball-style brindle pattern and a creamy off-white accent at the shank's end, it's sure to be a fine addition to your rotation.
