About This Pipe
Of the six briars that introduce us to Sam Adebayo's work, this is one of the two that are both the trimmest and the most directly Danish-school in design, the others being fuller-bodied shapes of a clearly American-only-influenced-by-Danish approach. While the other trim shape is, however lean, not small, this Dublin is a proper featherwight: light, delicate, and neat. Despite that, it does also have the densest ring grain of the lot, its bowl though modest of size being absolutely packed with the stuff.
