Sera (8920) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Rossi's "8920" bent Dublin aligns with Savinelli's "920" shape, and it's among the Italian marque's most striking and angular renditions. This piece hews closer to the classic English shape-chart standard in its sinuous bend and curved transition, but the bowl urges forward in a dramatic, check mark-like gesture. Full of dynamism, the bowl tapers into a defined heel, matching with the angle of shank for a well-balanced composition that highlights Rossi and Savinelli's distinct approach to traditional shapes.

Introduced in 2022, Rossi's Sera series offers pipes in a rugged rustication and a rich stain of varying chestnut and mahogany hues. The dark presentation evokes the line's name — meaning "nightfall" in Italian — with the graduated tones calling to mind the onset of dusk. It's a reserved and stately presentation, lent added refinement by a trim metal accent along the shank end, and while the craggy rustication offers rugged appeal and everyday durability, the traditional color palette makes this Sera pipe fit for any and every occasion.
