Notte (8626) Tobacco Pipe

While Rossi features several bent Apples on their standard shape chart, this "8626" is their signature, archetypal rendition, aligning with Savinelli's "626" form. It's also the trimmest version offered by the Italian marque, presenting a leaner disposition compared to, say, the "8636" and leaning more into the traditional English style. Defined by a slightly bulging bowl, stretched heel and transition, and lithely bent stem, this iconic "8626" is a versatile piece of moderate size and natural in-hand feel — perfect for those interested in an Italian-made pipe but one of more restrained, classic proportions.

Introduced to Rossi's portfolio in 2019, the Notte series presents an alluring palette of dark, stormy hues. Meaning "night" in Italian, the Notte offers an aptly dark aesthetic, pairing a smoky, smooth stain with a jet-black acrylic mouthpiece — a trim brass accent ring adding just a touch of brightness, like a sliver of moon at midnight. The stain, while dark, still reveals the briar's natural grain on this piece, emulating the look of swirling clouds within a night's black sky for a powerful and mysterious disposition.
