About This Pipe
The story of the Musico workshop began with Giorgio Musico, who frequently bought pipes from Italian pipe maker Fritz Becker. Their sons, Massimo Musico and Paolo Becker, would go on to found the Becker & Musico workshop, which primarily crafted classic pipe shapes. Eventually, the two went their separate ways, with Massimo Musico continuing to pursue a traditional aesthetic.
Supple, voluptuous, and curvaceous, this bent Apple from Musico features a dynamically poised bowl that's hoisted at the fore of the composition by a dramatically lifted heel. The bowl's forward-ebbing momentum is counterbalanced by the willowy shank-and-stem arrangement that snakes out back and strikes a comfortable, hands-free smoking posture. It's beautifully presented in a smoky, chestnut-hued smooth finish that reveals a wealth of handsome grain.
