About This Pipe
This is quite the interesting take on the bent Dublin from Musico, eschewing their usually firmly classical style in favor of one far more evocative. The stummel here is reminiscent of the Horn, with a sweeping heel supporting a bowl that continues a consistent expansion from out of the shank. Said bowl rises to a respectable height, holding a capacious chamber within its thick walls, reaching a broad rim that dips at the fore and aft for a bit of liveliness that's enhanced by the bowl's own forward cant. The shank itself is quite trim, ebbing out of a wide transition to meet a flared accent of boxwood that mounts the stem in push-style, the stem's demure curvature offering a comfortable smoking posture. Dressed in a crisp, dark sandblast, a wealth of lively flame grain is revealed on either flank of the bowl, while the rim displays some fine birdseye, the accent here adding a good bit of contrasting color.
