About This Pipe
While all of the Tomato shapes we've seen from Micah Redmond have been low-slung, this Squat Tomato takes things to another level, its broad cheeks and low rim giving it an understated, yet sleek profile. It's reinforced by the slight paneling at the shank, emphasized in profile by the line of the bottom of the shank, through the transition. The result is a streamlined piece, aerodynamic at the rear, with a touch of forward-ebbing momentum at the fore, and just the right amount of plateau crown to keep things interesting. Excellent work from Micah.
