Smooth Bent Apple (Saint) (A15.17) (16) Tobacco Pipe

If you were to place this bent Apple next to virtually any typical bent Apple, you would immediately see the difference in detail and quality, like the difference between a Walmart sport coat and a tailor-made, Italian fabric sport coat. In "Saint" grade, this pipe features stunning grain, as should be expected, but there are design elements to be appreciated as well. The shank is muscular, and the transition from bowl to shank includes a perfect curve, but at the bottom, the underside swoops slightly upward, demarcating the shank from the bowl. Birdseye dominates the underside of the pipe, and the rim, while narrow, also displays nicely articulated birdseye. The feel in the hand is unrivaled, and the stemwork is top tier.
