About This Pipe

American pipe artisan Jason Mouton began woodworking from a young age, crafting duck calls for his hunter father. It wasn't until adulthood that he dove headfirst into the pipe industry, using his prior skills to create tampers and eventually his own pipes. An intricately designed and wonderfully aesthetic offering from Jason Mouton, this Tomato combines various textures, hues, and materials to create a pipe that would diversify any collection. Up front, the bowl displays a traditionally squat profile as its walls expand before tapering back inward to the rim. An abbreviated shank gives way to a supple mount of horn that softly flares toward the stem. A metallic ring adorns the innermost section of the mount, reinforcing the connection between it and the vulcanite mouthpiece that protrudes from it. The hues of the stem complement the darker pigment of the horn and the inky sandblast that dresses the stummel, save for the innermost rim, which is finished smooth for contrast.
