About This Pipe
An alert, active take on the bent Dublin from Tom Eltang, this piece balances out a strong, flaring bowl up front with a gently-downturned saddle stem out back. The tubular sort of motion makes for a comfortable feel in hand, while also allowing for a broad canvas to showcase some contrast-highlighted flame. Tom's Dublins tend to terminate in a convex, domed rim, though there's a good bit of variation from piece to piece. This one seems to be somewhere in the middle, neither his most bulbous nor his most subdued. A gorgeous rendition all around.
