About This Pipe
The Arne Jacobsen has become something of a signature shape for Tom Eltang, and it's no real surprise why. It's a very utilitarian form, and one which doesn't lack for sleek, chic style either. Though obviously featuring a number of Danish Modern cues in its minimalist form and streamlined nature, the shape itself is actually Eltang's own take on the pipe Jacobsen was frequently seen smoking. Of course, Tom's done well to adapt the shape to suit his own style, incorporating Danish Modern elements and pressing the boundaries of functional design by trimming down the shank and bowl even more. It's presented here in his signature, extra craggy rustication topped with a creamy ferrule of genuine horn.
