Sandblasted Strawberry Wood Billiard (103/17) Tobacco Pipe

A smaller, perfectly proportioned Billiard in Strawberry wood, with its craggy, wild, wide grain and distinctive ridging. This pipe is all black, which provides understated elegance. The shank is dead straight with parallel lines, transitioning perfectly to the bowl, which maintains its proportions despite the sandblasting of exotic wood. With a thin, subtly chamfered interior rim of smooth red, almost invisible, it demonstrated the details that make a pipe great (that line is etched at the termination of the shank with an equally understated ring of smooth wood. The shank is just a bit longer than one would expect on a traditional Billiard, but for this piece, it's obviously appropriate.
