About This Pipe
Typical of Benni's work, this is not a small pipe. And yet, the proportions and curves, both in the charming bud of a bowl and the lush, smooth bend of shank and stem, have a delicate, and one might even say adorable look to them; see Lars Ivarsson's comment to Sykes on how a pipe should be shaped so that, like a hamster, you just want to pick it up and cuddle it. I have not cuddled this pipe, for the record. I have, however, picked it up, and I can certainly see why one wouldn't want to put it back down.
