About This Pipe
We've said before that the Strawberry shape doesn't seem to get the love it deserves amongst modern carvers. Sure, you'll certainly find smokers who adore the form, but it just doesn't get the same attention as other Danish-inspired forms. Thankfully, artisans like Jeff Gracik of J. Alan pipes keep returning to the shape time and time again, producing especially handsome, quite classically-inclined numbers like this strong, sweeping rendition. It's clearly a bowl-centric design, with the majority of visual weight lent to the upward-thrust fore, but that creamy ivorite accent at the shank's end offers a touch of off-white to balance it out.
