About This Pipe
The first thing I would say is that it's a neat trick getting a pipe with a profile like that to sit, forward canted of bowl and steeply rising of shank and stem as it is, with such a small foot. The second thing I would say is that it's all the more impressive given that Micah also made this design asymmetrical as well, the bowl sort of gently rolling towards the left as it reaches and stretches to a high rim. Thirdly, bonus points for excellent grain, since Micah arranged all of this daring design in such a way that shank as well as bowl are covered in rings.
